Who is Yvonne in Arknights Endfield?
Yvonne is a scientist working in the Specialist Tech Division of Endfield Industries. She was recommended by Crowe of UWST to Andre and joined through the Specialized Talent Recruitment channel. She's currently leading several research projects focused on the Ather, the Blight, and Trans-Ather Tranquilizer-Automata. Because of her amazing research skills, she's received bonus grants and resources to support her independent work.
Unlike what you might expect from a scientist, Yvonne doesn't look or act like a typical nerd. She's fashionable and stylish, dying her horns, tail, and nails in bright colors and modifying her clothes into designs she loves. She'd rather skip academic conferences to buy fashion magazines and popular albums. Yvonne loves anything odd or new and always stays ahead of the latest trends.
Even though she's not your typical straight-A student type, nobody doubts how talented and brilliant she is. Before she even graduated from college, she had already achieved impressive results in her field. Everyone expected her to work at a major research institute, but she surprised people by choosing to join Endfield Industries instead. She never really explained why she made that choice.
Her family name, Yvonne, comes from Gaul, and her father told her they inherited a great legacy that the family was proud of. But Yvonne doesn't really care about that. Artzy Tyrannical is Yvonne’s best-in-slot and signature handcannon, giving her massive Cryo damage through Critical Rate and easy-to-maintain stacking Cryo damage buffs. If you don’t have it, Wedge is a strong alternative that still boosts her main stat and Critical Rate while providing consistent Arts damage bonuses. This also works well with her Battle Skill and reactions.
If neither option is available, Opus: The Living serves as a free-to-play weapon for Yvonne, offering Critical Rate and simple, reliable effects, but with noticeably lower overall damage. Still good, though!

The MI Security set is actually made especially for Yvonne. It gives her free Critical Rate right away, then turns every crit into stacking Attack buffs, which she can max out almost instantly during her Ultimate, because her boosted Basic Attacks hit so fast. How to Play Yvonne
Yvonne’s playstyle is all about setting up Solidification and then cashing it in for big damage, so getting her rotation right is key. You start by applying Cryo or Nature Infliction with teammates like Xaihi or Estella, then use Yvonne’s Battle Skill to turn those inflictions into Solidification.
Hitting a Solidified enemy with a Final Strike triggers her Combo Skill, which pulls enemies together, deals damage, and reapplies Solidification, setting up the next step. Once everything is in place, activate her Ultimate to power up her Basic Attacks and finish with an Enhanced Final Strike that consumes Solidification for heavy burst damage.
Her Battle Skill gets stronger and restores more Ultimate Energy based on how many Cryo Infliction stacks it consumes, which is why Cryo-focused supports are so important. During her Ultimate, Yvonne’s Basic Attacks hit multiple times and deal much higher damage, letting her build toward a powerful Enhanced Final Strike that deletes enemies once Solidification is consumed.
