Rerolling in Arknights: Endfield is one of the most time-consuming processes in any gacha game. Before you commit hours to creating new accounts and grinding through tutorials, you need to understand what you're getting into. This guide covers everything about rerolling in Arknights Endfield, from the basic process to who you should target and whether it's actually worth your time.
What is Rerolling?
Rerolling means creating a new account, playing through the early game until you unlock the gacha system, using your free pulls to try for specific characters, and then starting over if you don't get what you want. The goal is to start your account with powerful characters without spending money.
How to Reroll in Arknights Endfield?
- Step 1: Create multiple email addresses before the game launches. You'll need one email for each reroll attempt. Salted emails (adding dots between letters in your Gmail address) do not work on the Endfield registration website. You must use completely separate email addresses.
- Step 2: Visit the official Arknights: Endfield website and pre-register each email address. This gives every account the pre-registration rewards, which include 20 Standard Banner pulls and a free 5-Star weapon.
- Step 3: Launch the game and log in with your first prepared email. Skip every cutscene and tutorial that the game allows. Some content is completely unskippable!
- Step 4: After the prologue, continue playing until you unlock the gacha system.
- Step 5: Open your mail and claim all the pre-registration rewards. Go to the settings menu and enter both redemption codes. Check your sign-in events and collect any available rewards.
- Step 6: Use all of your Headhunting Permits on the Standard Banner. If you get a 6-Star from your Standard pulls, write down which character you got and which email account this happened on. This account might become your final choice even if it's not your ideal target.
- Step 7: Evaluate what you got from the banners.
- Keep the account if:
- You got your target character
- You got the Limited Banner 6-Star
- You got a strong Standard Banner 6-Star that fits your planned team
- Reroll if:
- You didn't get any 6-Star characters
- You only got 6-Star characters you don't want to use
- Keep the account if:
- Step 8: Keep a simple spreadsheet or notes document with information about each account. Write down the email address and what characters you pulled. This way, if you get tired of rerolling after 10 or 15 attempts, you can go back and choose the best account from what you've already created.
- Step 9: Log out of your current account and log in with your next prepared email. Start the prologue again and repeat steps 3 through 9 until you either get your target character or decide you're done rerolling.
Is Rerolling Worth It in Arknights Endfield?
Short answer: Not really.
Long answer: Endfield has one of the most brutal rerolling experiences in modern gacha games. Each reroll takes 30 to 40 minutes. The game has a 20-minute prologue that you must complete every single time. This includes unskippable cutscenes, mandatory tutorials, and a boss fight at the end. After the prologue, you still need to progress through part of Chapter 1 before the gacha system unlocks.
Our Recommendation: Should You Reroll or Not?
For most players, rerolling isn't worth the time investment. Each reroll takes 30 to 40 minutes with extremely low rates, and the game is generous enough with free pulls that you'll get strong characters naturally.
More importantly, Arknights: Endfield is heavily based on elemental reactions and team compositions. Even if you get a top-tier character through rerolling, you'll need specific teammates to make them reach their full potential. A single strong character won't carry you without proper team synergy.

Which Characters Should You Reroll For?
The best reroll targets depend on what kind of team you want to build and how much time you're willing to invest. However, long story short, Ardelia and Last Rite are both good targets for reroll. But if you feel you are a blessed child of Gacha Gods, you can try your luck at getting Laevatain as well.
Limited Banner Characters

Laevatain is the featured character on the first Limited Banner. Laevatain is extremely strong, but she's not as flexible as some Standard Banner characters.
Standard Banner Characters (More Realistic Targets)

Ardelia is a Nature element Arts Unit who provides damage amplification and healing for your entire team. She applies long-lasting Arts and Physical susceptibility debuffs through her Combo and Battle Skills, making her useful in almost any team composition.
Here's the catch: everyone gets Ardelia for free after logging in for 14 days. If you get her from your reroll, you'll have a duplicate. This is actually a strong option because you won't need to wait two weeks to have your best support character available.
Last Rite is a Cryo element Great Sword damage dealer. She can work as either a main damage dealer or sub-damage dealer depending on your team, and she's one of the most efficient Cryo Infliction applicators in version 1.0. If you plan to build a Cryo-focused team, Last Rite is a strong reroll target.
Pogranichnik is a Physical Element Sword user. His Ultimate pulls enemies together, his Combo provides team-wide SP regeneration, and his Battle Skill applies Breach to increase Physical damage taken. He's essential for Physical teams but doesn't work well outside that element.
Lifeng is another Physical element Polearm user who focuses on applying Vulnerable stacks and dealing personal damage. He's solid for Physical teams but less impactful than Pogranichnik.
Ember is a Heat-element Great Sword user who works as a tank and healer hybrid. Her Combo heals the controlled Operator, and her Ultimate shields the entire team.
Reroll Priority Recommendations
- Best universal characters: Ardelia (even though she's free later)
- Best Physical team characters: Pogranichnik or Ember
- Best Cryo team characters: Last Rite
Honestly, in my opinion, if you have plans to reroll, go for Last Rite, since you will get Ardelia for free. This will help you expand options for your roster.

Rerolling in Arknights: Endfield is one of the most demanding reroll experiences in any gacha game, but if you decide to do it, this guide should help you approach it efficiently. Just remember that the game is designed to be enjoyable without rerolling, and burning yourself out before you even start playing is worse than missing one character at launch.
