You can get Alesh by pulling him from the Basic Headhunting, New Horizons Headhunting, and the limited banners. He is a 5-star operator with a 8% drop rate in all banners.
Who is Alesh in Arknights Endfield?
Introduced by a liaison from the UWST Security Bureau, Alesh joined Endfield Industries to take on communications and cover duties in the frontier. When he's not on the job, he doubles as the instructor for Endfield's angling class.<brHe isn't keen on talking about his "boring" past. All that's known is that he clawed his way through the frontier's underclass, enduring strife and betrayal at every turn. In the end, he left the streets behind with one blind eye and a body worn by exhaustion.
By trade, Alesh is a fin seller, spending his days absorbed in angling. But beneath that laid-back surface lie sharp instincts and keen judgment. Finchaser 3.0 is Alesh's signature weapon and becomes incredibly powerful in Cryo teams where he can apply Solidification. It has perfect stats for him and an extremely strong effect: whenever Alesh applies Solidification, enemies get hit with a massive Cryo DMG Taken debuff. However, this weapon only shines in teams that let Alesh trigger Solidification frequently, outside those specific Cryo compositions, it loses much of its value compared to other options.
Thermite Cutter works as Alesh's best universal support weapon for teams where his signature doesn't fit. While its main stat isn't ideal for Alesh, the other stats and weapon effect more than compensate unless you're building him specifically for personal damage.
Fortmaker is the last best option when you don't have either weapon above. Its main benefit is the passive Ultimate Gain stat, which helps Alesh charge his Ultimate faster.

How to Play Alesh
Alesh's gameplay centers around his Combo Skill, which has a very short cooldown and should be used as often as possible. It triggers whenever your team consumes an Arts Reaction (like Combustion, Corrosion, or Electrification) or Originium Crystals, which includes Shattering Solidification or crystals.
When you use it, Alesh goes fishing and recovers SP for the team. He has a 10% base chance to catch a "Rare Fin" which doubles the SP recovery, and this chance increases up to 40% if you build him with Intellect stats. The key is simple: use this Combo whenever it's available unless your team is already at full SP.
His Battle Skill is more specialized and only useful in Cryo teams. It consumes all Cryo Infliction stacks on an enemy and forcibly turns them into Solidification, which is incredibly valuable for teams that need Solidification but don't want to run multiple elements.
The more Cryo stacks Alesh consumes, the more SP he recovers for the team. Use this ability when you need to trigger Solidification for teammates like Estella who rely on it, or when you've built up several Cryo stacks and want to convert them efficiently.
Alesh's Ultimate deals AoE Cryo damage and applies Cryo Infliction to all enemies hit while also recovering SP. Use it for burst damage and SP generation, but be careful about the timing, the Cryo Infliction it applies can be helpful for setting up reactions, but it might also interfere with your team's combo rotation if used at the wrong moment.
In Cryo-focused teams, his Ultimate becomes especially valuable since the Cryo Infliction feeds directly into his Battle Skill for Solidification conversion, creating a smooth rotation loop.
