New Gear Sets

Version 1.1 also adds 10 new gear sets to the game. So, more combinations to experiment with for your Operators. It's worth checking them out as you progress through the new content.

New Area

The update opens up Qingbo Stockade, a new location in the Wuling region. Story-wise, things are pretty tense there. The arrival of Nefarith and Ardashir has caused friction between Qingbo Stockade and Wuling City, and you get to jump in and see how it plays out.

Main Missions up to Chapter II Process III are now available, so if you've been waiting on more story content, this is it. On top of that, Etchspace Salvage's Aberrant Zone 4 is also now open, giving you a new zone to push through if you've been keeping up with that content.

New Story Content and Missions

Version 1.1 brings new main story content and an operator side mission:

Old Deep Water Dies by Rising Tide It is Denied

This is the newest chapter of the main story. It takes you deep into the events unfolding around Qingbo Stockade and pushes the overall narrative forward.

The Red Knight

This one is Rossi's narrative event and operator side mission. It becomes available starting March 29th, 2026, alongside Rossi's banner in Phase 2. It's a permanent addition once it unlocks, so you won't miss it if you're a little late.

New System: Hydro-Industrialization

This version also adds a new layer to the AIC building system. Hydro-Industrialization uses water flow instead of electricity to power up certain facilities, which opens up some new ways to manage your resources. Here's what's new on the building side:

Hydro Mining Rig

This lets you mine Cuprium, a brand-new resource. The key thing here is that it runs on water flow, so it doesn't need to connect to your power grid at all. That's a pretty big deal for base planning.

Conduits

New infrastructure pieces that let you move liquids over long distances. This is great for expanding your base layout.

Water Treatment Units

This one will handle sewage processing, which ties into the new liquid logistics chain.

Forges of the Sky Expansion

You can now place up to four Forges of the Sky instead of the previous limit. More forges means more endgame resource production, which is great if you are pushing for late-game content.

Rewards and Progression

There's a lot of free stuff packed into this version, and you'll want to grab all of it.

Beginner's Chartered Tribute

This is a permanent event added in Version 1.1 that gives you 10 Chartered Headhunting Permits. You can use this full multi-pull on any limited character banner. Here's how to get it:

  1. Complete the Break the Siege main mission.
  2. Heat to the Events tab and claim your rewards.

If you already finished Break the Siege before Version 1.1 launched, you can skip straight to step two and claim the rewards immediately.

Protocol Pass – Dark Currents

The new battle pass is live until the next version's maintenance. It now lets you earn Basic Headhunting Permits on a regular basis.

It also includes two new weapons: Home Longing and Glorious Memory, for those building out Handcannon or Sword users.

Advanced Gear Optimization

The Valley Multi-Line Engraving Kit is now available through the Stock Redistribution system once you raise the Valley IV Origin Lodespring to level 4. It lets you craft Essences with three customized stats.

AIC Quota System Update

You now earn Quotas when you get a 4-star, 5-star, or 6-star operator for the first time. If you already had those operators before the update, the Quotas get sent to your in-game mail automatically.

Arknights Enfield Version 1.1 Update Maintenance Schedule

Before you can play Version 1.1, the game needs to go through a scheduled maintenance. Here is when it's happening depending on your server:

ServerMaintenance Window
Asia Server (UTC+8)March 12, 2026 — 6 AM to 12 PM
Americas / Europe Server (UTC-5)March 11, 2026 — 5 PM to 11 PM

You won't be able to log in during this window, so plan around it. Once maintenance wraps up, you'll need to re-download the game client. It's a big download, so a stable Wi-Fi connection is strongly recommended.

As a thank you for your patience during downtime, everyone who created a character before the update gets 900 Oroberyl sent straight to your in-game mail. Make sure you claim it before the next version's maintenance kicks off, because the mail expires when the next update begins.

How to Update

Here is how to update on each platform:

PlatformStepsDownload SizeStorage Space
iOSOpen the App Store and tap Update9GB20GB additional
AndroidOpen the game and follow the pop-up prompts6GB20GB additional
PlayStation 5Go to the home screen, select Arknights Endfield, press OPTIONS, then select Check for Update37GB48GB additional
PCClose the game, restart the GRYPHLINE launcher, and click Update37GB48GB additional

The extra space is only used temporarily during the extraction process and gets freed up once it's done, so you don't need to keep that space clear permanently.

What's Coming in Version 1.2

GRYPHLINE has already teased what's next. Version 1.2 will have the Endministrator team up with Tianshi Zhuang to defend the Xiranite Dam from a siege by Ardashir. It's going to bring two new maps, a new outpost, and a new fluid-based production system for the AIC Factory. A lot to look forward to after 1.1 wraps up.

Version 1.1 is a solid update that gives you real new content to dig into. Make sure you grab your beginner permits, log in daily for the sign-in events, and check in on both banners if Tangtang or Rossi catches your eyes!
